The Hula Hoop Shelf – a Stylish Storage Choice
Hula hoops aren’t just for kids anymore, folks. In fact, they make for a pretty cool shelf.
Start by grabbing two of these circular wonders and giving them a coat of deep rustic copper paint. Then, cut two wooden boards to fit the length of the hoop and stain them to your liking.
Once they’re dry, attach the boards to the hoops – one a quarter down from the top and the other a quarter up from the bottom. And to keep your shelf stable, add a couple of dowels to the bottom with some trusty glue. Voila – you’ve got yourself a one-of-a-kind storage solution.
