12 Small Living Rooms and DIY Ideas to Organize Your Tiny Space

It’s Not Rocket Science, But It Might Be More Fun (And Less Dangerous)

A Custom Drop Zone Project from Prefab Cabinet

If you’re tired of tripping over shoes and bags at your front door, it’s time to build a bench with some custom cabinets. First, mark your spot on the wall and run some electrical to install some fancy LED lights.

Build the base and rear supports, stack and attach the cabinets, and repeat for the top shelves. Don’t forget to trim the sides with some plywood and add baseboards, crown molding, and shoe molding.

Then, make it cozy with some reclaimed wood for the seating area. Last step, slap on some paint and add your hardware of choice. Now you have a drop zone that’s more organized than your life!
