11. A DIY CABINETS AND MODULAR DESK Idea

This tutorial shows how to build simple DIY cabinet boxes that can be turned into shelves or drawers with optional supports for file folders. The overall height of the cabinet is 30″, with a 3/4″ top added. Cut adjustable shelves about 1/4″ shorter in length than the width of the inside of the cabinet to provide wiggle room.

To build file cabinet drawers, cut plywood to size, assemble using pocket holes, then install drawer slides. After installing the drawers, add the top to the cabinets.
