6. A DIY SLIDING BARN DOOR CABINET Idea WITH DRAWERS
To make a sliding barn door cabinet, build the frame and add shelf pin holes. Use the Kreg Drawer slide jig to attach the drawers to the cabinet easily. Next, build the door, and add a 3D effect for a modern look.
Follow a tutorial to make your own barn door hardware, using 2½” hex crews and adding an extra ½” spacer for added support. Create a door pull using a piece of aluminum bar. Paint the cabinet in a soft pink and stain the top in General Finishes Java for a two-tone finish or any color you like!
