3. A DIY Stackable Salt Cellar Idea
Cut out rounds using a 3″ hole saw to create stackable salt cellars. Remove the pilot bit after making a quarter cut to avoid a hole through the center. Clear out the waste using a Forstner bit, filling the hole with glue and a dowel for alignment. Find the circle’s center by creating a square around it and marking diagonal lines.
Use a rabbeting bit to create nesting pots. Sand the pots, then make a lid using brass. Attach a smaller wood piece to the brass circle. Apply a food-safe finish. Enjoy your unique and functional salt cellars!
