5 Creative Interior Design Initiatives

A right choice of colors is essential for interior design but sometimes you need more than new paint or a custom wallpaper. Next, this is 5 creative interior design initiatives for 2018 and beyond

1. Recycle your Old Stuff

Do you have old stuff that is useless? It can be a toy, shoes/boots, or bags. But in this case, a shoe/boot is the easiest among all. The thing you are about to make is a pot made of the boot. First of all you need to clean the shoe and drill holes on the sole so they can act as the drainage. Then, add dirt into the boot and place the seed. Water the seed and take of it until the seed grows. Source

2. Relive an Old Stool

To relive it, you need to add some fresh fabric to be put on the seat cover. Simply remove the seat off your stool by using screwdriver then take off the cover. After that, add new batting to the seat. Measure the fabric onto the seat and cut it into the measured size. Then, begin attaching the fabric by using staples onto the seat. . Source

First you need to cut open a tennis ball by using a cutter. Then add eyes so it can be cute. Simply hang on the wall and it can be used anytime. Source

4. Turn an Old Dresser into a Chair

To make this, take your old dresser and remove the drawers out of its carcass. Then, remove the top part of the dresser and the back as well. After that, measure the length and wide of the dresser to make the seat out of the top part of the dresser. You need to make the base of the seat as well by using part of the dresser back. Next, paint the whole carcass and also the drawers. Then, cover the seat with batting and fabric (see point number 4). Finally, put the drawers back into the carcass and put on the seat as well. Your dresser chair is done. Source
