IKEA? The company has gradually emerged as one of the top names in the market when it comes to providing household items that embody quality and style. While IKEA has a massive array of products at your disposal, you can implement a bit of creativity in crafting interesting items for decorating your house.

1. DIY light with IKEA Frack bathroom mirror.
Wire the socket, check to see it has a hole for the cord to come out (barring the bottom hole), and put the socket back together. Screw the adapter nut on tight, gather the cord, and affix the light socket.
After this is done, thread the cord through the back of the Frack hardware, between the wall plate and the supporting rod. Wire the plug, and hang it up – your light is ready.
2. DIY herb garden with IKEA Vurm wine rack.
Create a 1-inch coating by dipping the bottom of each glass into the latex paint. Dry carefully on wax paper for 3 hours (move them around so they don’t get stuck). Paint a layer of Clear Chalkboard Coating on the painted area of glass.
Add another coat when the first one dries, and leave overnight. Fill with half the glass with rocks, put the herb in them without damaging roots, and mount it horizontally on the wall. Put the plants in the open spaces in the Vurm. (image by thriftylagunagirl.com)

Adjoin the bowls, draw continents, apply 2 to 3 coats, and let one coat dry before applying the next. Don’t forget to paint inside the rim where continents are shown to diminish seam between the bowls.

Create your own tabletop with 4 Knuff magazine files, a Frosta stool, and Nasum basket. With a bit of contact adhesive, masking tape, colorless varnish and acrylic paint, you can let loose your creativity! The instructions are simple and you can get it done quickly.

Stock up on a few Kryddig spice mills, stick a candle onto the top, and transform them into attractive candlestick holders. It will look amazing as on your dining room table as you host elaborate dinners or have an intimate time with your special someone.
9. Bookshelf and Ceilingscape Made From Toy Bins.
Cut open storage boxes at the bottom, fix them to the wall, and alternate with closed boxes having LED lighting inside – your library is done! For the ceiling, fix smaller boxes over adhesive strips of LEDs.

Since the KNUFF magazine file has 2 pieces with one being inside of the other, you can use it to change the shape of the table as per convenience. Secure using a liquid nail and screw your artist stool or a FROSTA stool and SNUDDA Lazy Susan underneath.
12. Double it! Malm console becomes a bigger table.
A long slim console table can become a larger one accommodating 10 people, if you use the spare legs and desk of the second Malm and join to the legs and desk respectively to the already built up table, by screwing the hinges tightly.
13. Himmeli mobile for the nursery.
Join straws to create a 3D hexagonal model, which acts as a mobile for your children’s nursery. This is undoubtedly a little complex, and requires patience. You can spray paint them for a metallic look that is very eye-catching.
14. Double multi-position Tingby Coffee table.
Follow the IKEA instructions carefully and work on the first table before starting on the second. When you open the latter, make sure you take out 3 of the wheels and screw them under each foot. Glue 6 small FIXA protections under the top so the table slides softly without damaging top of the table below.
15.IKEA HACK: Couch Caddy.
The ultimate space for relaxing while watching a movie and sipping a refreshing beverage, or indulging in some quiet reading. A Couch Daddy can be made from a Toga place mat and Njuta slippers!
16.Mid Century Modern Doll Furniture Chair and Coffee Table.
To make the chair, use the Tolsby picture frame and one Blanda Matt bowl. The other is to be used to create the table, along with chopsticks as legs. Isn’t retro doll furniture adorable to look at?
17.Yarnbombing Station.
Use Variera plastic bag dispensers to create a knitting station, by attaching them to the wall of your craft room. Dispensing yarn has never been so easy!
18.Get into the hot seat.
Use the Ikea Poang with heated seating and extend the headrest as per your comfort level. Now you don’t need to feel the cold sensation of leather anymore!
19.Gunnern bathroom cabinet hack.
Combine two Gunnern cabinets side by side into a single large storage option. This is an excellent space saver, especially for those with limited room.
20. IKEA Ultralight Backpacking pack.
The idea is simple – to reduce the overall weight of your backpack. The front, back and bottom are all from one piece, giving a smoother seamless looks once finished. The padding of waist belt and shoulder straps were sourced from a SeaWorld wetsuit, wrapped in fabric. Components like webbing, straps, etc. Were then sewed to the IKEA bag. It is waterproof thanks to the rolltop clip system.

21. IKEA BIG BOY ROOM.
Use IKEA’s Svarta model and top them off with Vitaminer Bil duvet sets. For a cleaner room, use Grundtal knife racks as they can be used to hold toys. In fact, you can organize anything made with metal or magnets via these racks. Legos and Mega Bloks can be kept in numbered Kusiner bins.
22. IKEA Spare Rib Holder.
Screw the upstanding pins on provided threads and remove rubbers fixed to the underside of the scissor mechanism. Alternatively, you can use the Ribhalter as a spacer for larger roasts.
23. Jewelry Organizer.
Pin a Variera shelf insert to a wall and decorate as a jewelry holder after you screw it into place.
24. DIY Jewelry Organizer With Ikea Utensil Holder.
If you don’t wish to have holes in your wall, opt for an IKEA ORDNING kitchen utensil rack for a jewelry holder. Put in some plastic hooks for hanging necklaces, while double earrings can be hung from the holes.
25. Add a lamp to the inside of a Moleg storage stool.

Remove the metal pieces inside the lampshade with your Dremel tool. Stick cork trivet into the lampshade, it fits perfectly into what would be the top of your lampshade and will be the bottom of your storage container/basket. And that’s it. 5 minutes may be an exaggeration, it probably only takes two!
33. IKEA Closet Doors into Workstation with Monitor Hutch.
Use Besta Tofta doors for this purposes. Cut 3 of them long ways down, and fasten the uncut one to the Linnmon table top. Add 4 adjustable table legs from IKEA in each corner. Use one of the strips from the doors and cut for the shelf where you would place the monitors. Add an LED strip underneath and use remaining strips of closet doors to build the hutch or monitor housing.
