A Beautiful Cabinet from IKEA Kallax
IKEA Kallax hacks never end, and whatever the designs, they can meet any home theme.
And this DIY comes with burlap doors. This project started by creating the base legs for the Kallax itself. Use 2×4 pieces of wood, then assemble them into a sturdy legs structure to support the bookcase unit. Ensure the sizes on all sides match the bookcase.
- Next, sand, prime, and paint the base of the legs and the bookcase unit in beige. Let it dry.
- After that, attach the legs to the bottom of the bookcase with wood glue and screws.
- Next, cut the plywood board according to the width and height of the bookcase.
- Then, build the door. Then install it on the body unit with hinges.
- Finally, wrap the doors with burlap cloth and add semicircular plywood door handles for a more stylish look.
