A DIY Custom Closet Project Idea
Custom closets may be a bit pricey, but this one is not. You can use an IKEA Kallax unit instead of buying the new one.
- First, assemble the Kallax bookcase according to the instructions.
- After that, set the position to stand vertically.
- Install heavy-duty legs with fixing plates to provide balanced and firm support for the closet.
- Next, you can attach the wooden rod on the right and left side of it to the wall using a closet flange set. Take advantage of this area as a spot to hang clothes.
If you want to go doorless, add a drawer system and some cupboards or storage boxes to hide clutter inside.
