Keep your clothes from becoming a jumbled mess by sorting through your items and pairing them down to the things you really wear. Once that's done, use a vertical folding method (like the one Marie Kondo uses) to make everything a uniform shape and size. Then contain each type of clothing using drawer organizers.
Empty your drawers and go through everything. Once you've decided what to keep, fold everything using a "vertical" or "file folding" method (like the one Marie Kondo uses). It works for all types of clothing, from underwear and socks to jeans and tops. Not only does this folding method keep drawers neat, it lets you see all your choices at a glance. Once you have your clothing folded into uniform rectangles, simply place them into the drawer organizers of your choice.
Lay your shirt out on a flat surface. Fold one side of the shirt to the center. Fold back the sleeves as needed to create a straight line down the middle.
Fold the other side of the shirt to the center. Your shirt should now be a neat rectangle. If you are working with long sleeves, fold them down the rectangle and back up to be contained within the rectangle.
Fold the rectangle almost in half, stopping just short of the bottom.
Now fold the rectangle again in either half or in thirds, depending on how long the shirt is.
Stand the folded shirt upright and place it in a drawer organizer. Arrange the drawer organizers in your drawers.
