A Sprinkle of Lavender: How to sanitize your makeup

Today I'm gonna teach you how to sanitize your makeup, sanitizing your makeup can not only be better for you it also makes the shelf life of your makeup longer. Sanitizing your makeup is very easy and takes maybe 5 minutes at the most. You can sanitize everything from cream to powder makeup, you can also even sanitize your lipstick and lip gloss. Now lets get to how you do it and what you will need.

What you'll need:

Makeup of course, this can include anything pressed(eyeshadow, blush, bronzer, powder, etc.), this can also include lip products, and creme eyeshadow, blushes, or eyeliner
Paper towels or toilet paper
Cotton Balls
Rubbing Alcohol I used 70% but you can also use 90%
Spray Bottle

You can get all these things at Walmart for under $10.00

First thing you need to do is put the Alcohol into the spray bottle

How to Sanitize Lip Gloss:

First you will need to spray the applicator of the lip gloss with the alcohol, you can also spray the actual stick

After you spray the applicator of the lip gloss wipe of the applicator and the stick with a paper towel or toilet paper.

Then leave the applicator out to dry until you don't smell any more alcohol this could take from 1-5 minutes.

How to Sanitize your lipsticks(I also used this method to sanitize my Baby Lips):

First open your lipstick and spray whatever part of the lipstick that has been used. After you spray the bullet tip the lipstick upside down so no alcohol gets into the actual tube, but if this happens after the bullet has time to dry which could take from 30 seconds to 1 minute, close this lipstick up and tip it upside down so the alcohol can drain out.
