On my Radar

Have you paid a visit to Serena and Lily's fabulous Bazaar? I love to peruse their unique finds, especially the beautifully curated art selection. At the top of my list are my friend Michelle's spectacular paintings. I'm completely enthralled with the inky blues in the piece below.

And how gorgeous are these exotic treasures! This Nigerian Chieftain chair is covered in intricate glass beads from top to bottom.
While this x-stool, which is high on my list of wants, sports a vibrant batik from Bali.

It's rare that I post fashion on Head Over Heels, but these qualify as wearable works of art as far as I'm concerned. Spotted on Julie's wonderful blog, Belle Vivir, these hand painted, one-of-a-kind, silk tees from The Silk Tee Dot, blow my mind. Stunning.

Again, off topic, but I couldn't resist sharing these beautifully sculptural, intricate jewelry pieces with you. My oh-so-stylish friend Susie sent me the link to A Peace Treaty and I about fell out of my chair. Each piece is handmade and truly exquisite in its workmanship. I dare you to find something this unique and so reasonably priced.

Last but not least, a little shiny hammered magic from that cutie, Nate Berkus. From his line for HSN, comes the handcrafted Orbit lamp. Hello sexy brass base and navy linen shade. What a fabulous pairing!
So there you have it. My wish list just keeps growing fatter by the minute. However, I'm not a greedy girl and I'm happy to live vicariously. Someone buy one of these goodies and then send me pictures.

Happy Weekend, ya'll and happy shopping!

No Rhyme or Reason

I suppose you can call this the ultimate in lazy summer blogging. My only defense is to woo you with a plethora of pretty. Hope you enjoy!

C'est Chic

These rooms are perhaps a bit more formal and sophisticated than spaces that I normally feature and gravitate to, however, there is no arguing that they are supremely elegant. I can't help but fall prey to the allure of so many beautiful details.

Daily Pretty

So many great details in this Cape Cod summer house bedroom. From the white-washed paneled walls, to the soaring peaked ceiling, to those great woven beds, the boho bed linens, and the wonderful little tribal rug. I'd love to be a guest.

Wanna go in on a beach house?

The only caveat, it's in India. But, it does come with it's own coconut grove, and perhaps a lily pond might interest you or a snooze in a hammock under the palms. Any takers?
