10. Artistic Concrete Coffee Table

The first thing you need to do is making the concrete top. To make the form, you’re going to use melamine-coated particleboard as it is easy to use and quite cheap.
When you assemble the particleboard, make sure that the two sides are longer than the others and overhang the form so that you can remove the concrete easily. Then, caulk the inside corners of the particleboard to create smooth and rounded edges of the concrete top.
To imprint the “fossil” look, take some leaves or ferns that have been treated previously, and lay them down onto the form. Press them thoroughly until they are really flat. Apply adhesive spray to let them stay flat on the form.
Pour the concrete mixture, let it harden, then remove it from the particleboard using plastic putty knife. Remove the leaves from the concrete top by using a stiff plastic brush. Assemble it with the table legs, and you’re done! You can add a clear glass onto the concrete top for a more fabulous look.

9. Repurpose an Old Door
Repurposing old stuff is a great way to salt away some money. And that’s what you’re going to do now. If you happen to have an abandoned old door in your storage room, take it to your garage as it can make a pretty good coffee table.
To make this coffee table, you’re going to need to get the right coffee table frame in a second-hand shop. If you can’t find any, well, you can always make it yourself, can’t you?

6. A Birch Coffee Table idea
The first thing you need to do is making the base by building a plywood box measuring 27x18x16 inches. Then, centre the plywood box onto the 33×24-inches plywood base. Secure them all with screws.
After that, attach some 3 ½-inches birch logs that have been cut into 18-inch pieces around the base using wood glue until the box is completely covered. For extra strength, you can screw each log to the box.
Screw another piece of plywood board to the top of the box to close it. Attach some 1-inch birch logs onto the table top to give an accent. Last, Grout the table top and add wheels underneath.

This coffee table is made out of a wood barrel. You can actually find it in a home improvement store. But it will be much cheaper if you make it yourself.
